Trinkets, Treasures and Trash.

We are having a yardsale on Sunday.  Oh boy.  I'm never quite sure how this happens but we seem to have a yard sale every year and it just seems to get bigger and bigger.  I'm not sure if it is that we are more willing to declutter and not hold so tightly on to things or if we are pack-rats.  Either way, we will be hopefully be able to clear some of the clutter and hop the neighbourhood up on caffine (I'm baking tripple chocolate espresso cookies). 

So, the questions arise...
Are you a pack-rat or do you have a collection that you are fond of?
What do you collect?

I have a few collections bells, Holly Hobbie and dolphin and whales.

    Don't you have the game pieces from the original D&D still?  Weren't they pewter pieces of wizards and dragons etc.? Or were they suppliments that people bought afterwards?

    Swizzle- I'm definately not a packrat even though I do a lot of work around the home. If it doesn't have a foreseeable future, it goes in the trash.

    swizzle: nah, those were separate things. the original stuff didn't have those figures (known in gaming circles as miniatures).

    Ed- Thanks for the enlightenment.  I never got too invovled with the game (played for a couple of months).  I do however rember my friens having every little miniature that you could think about.  They were really well done. How many of the books do you still have?

    I'm sort of a pack rack.  I collect angels and keep things that have sentimental value to me.
