If you have read some of my previous posts you will see that I have refered to if you give a mouse a cookie or give a moose a muffin.  I know that there is at least one SCer out  who knows what I'm talking about.  For all of those who don't I am writing this for clarity.  My thought process quite often resembles a seiries of childrens books by author Laura Numeroff (illustrated by Felicia Bond).  Check them out if you like kids books.
The titles in the series are:
If You Give a Mouse a Cookie
If You Give a Moose a Muffin
If You Give a Pig a Pancake
If You Take a Mouse to School
If You Take a Mouse to the Movies
and If You Give a Pig a Party.

The basic premise like a domino effect ; If you give a mouse a cookie he'll want milk, then a mirror to make sure he oesn't have a moustache next thing you know he's gone through a bunch of steps to darwing a picture, you get the gist.

That being said, it leaves me whith my curiosty as to...
What's you're favourite children's book?

Mine was personally Litlle Mrs. Pepperpot.  I loved my mom reading that to me.  My kids Favourite are mainly Maurice Sendak books (Chicken Soup with Rice, Where the Wild Things Are and In The Night Kitchen).

So think back to your childhood, get dreamy eyed and remember....

swizzle- I don't remember children's books other that ones like Gulliver's Travels, if those count. There were a lot of "game" books.

You just made me remember one I had forgotten-- Babes In Toyland.  That really takes me back to when my sisters read to me over and over, until I knew the words without actually reading.
