Okay so I was sitting around tonight with my daughter and husband and we saw this funny commercial about recreating special moments. there were these parents who were bathing their child in the sink, only their child was an adult. Anyways, it was pretty funny.
So that got us talking about how we used to bathe our daughter in the sink, which she thought was pretty cool. Of course we told her how she hated it because she hated getting water on her face. In fact at 9 she still hates it.
After talking about this, I started wondering if conditions in the womb could affect a child in life. I say this because when I was pregnant I got a tiny pinprick and all my water leaked out, without our knowledge and my daughter was in there without any water.
We didn't find out until the nurse was trying to break my water, as I was being induced since I was already two weeks late and my docor was going on vacation. Anyways, she just kept pushing and poking me and it hurt, until finally the docotr came in and took a look and then explained that I had no water.
So my daughter was born healthy but dry. It was actually a good thing that I was being induced otherwise there could have been some serious problems.
So I wonder if the fact that she spent dry time in me beore birth has anything to do with her hatred of having water in her face?
just something I was thinking about.
