  I am a born Muslim. I lived the greater part of my youth living the kind of western lifestyle that is considered the norm all over the world. I tried my best to look gorgeous at all times, went out and partied, had boyfriends. The fact that I was living a pretty unaware and go-with-the-flow type of existence never quite occured to me. But how could it when I was living the fast life and hardly giving myself some room for thought. However certain things happened- I'm a reader, and I read a book which thoroughly changed my life. Believe me when I say I have seen both sides of the coin. The peace and security that I get from putting my full trust in Allah gives me the ability to be fearless, determined and consistent in my duties and responsibilities. I no longer fear death, because I know that if I live my life in accordance to the word of Allah and the lifestyle of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) nothing can hurt or harm me unless it is Allah's will.

  I can not speak for those Muslims in Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Syria or anywhere across the world, but I can speak for myself. I am a woman who had literally lost the way- I hit depression and questioned the purpose of my existence. I began to think and ponder for the first time in my life. It led me to the understanding of Islam. And I am happier and achieve more now than I ever have before.

  Oh and by the way I'm still eighteen, incase you thought I had finally reverted after living a life of evil.

  i suggest that those that condemn islam learn and understand the Quran. the holy book holds the truth to what islam is, its the fundamental of Islam. read it in arabic because to compare it with the translations in english or any other language is not the same. the quran's words is not tempered by man and it cannot be tempered with. try to rebut the words in the quran and you will see that the quran cannot be rebutted. if you don't believe me than try it yourself. if you don't understand what islam is, what right do you have to condemn the religion? that would make you an ignorant and foolish person. the truth lies in the Quran.

If you could just for a second imagine if the Virginia Tech terrorist was a Muslim, say from Pakistan. Right now I would probably not be typing out this message because I would be busy sheltering myself from the ruthless invasion of USA. Some people need to emerge from their opaque bubble which revolves around their selfish desires and probably try to find out whats going on in the world, apart from the information they are fed with from biased channels like CNN, Fox News and BBC. They need to watch less porn and aggression in substandard movies so that they do not derive perverted pleasure from real life destruction. They need to start living in stronger family structures, divorce less, and be nicer family members so that they do not waste their time and brains thinking up cheap ways the world and Muslims could be destroyed. They need to relax and probably pray to God to make their minds much  more peaceful and rid themselves of this abnormality.

Why, you ask? It is because you know practically nothing about Islam. Zero. Zilch. Not a pint of information about the second major religion of the world. The only reason even I bother to reply is because it saddens me to know that people are still oblivious about the reality of Islam and fail to climb out of their shelled lives into the real world. Does it ever occur to you why people from other religion are accepting Islam in large numbers these days, despite the fact that they live in liberated societies and cannot be forced into acceptance? It is because Islam, as its name suggests, is a peaceful religion and because it gives way more rights to you than the modern secular society ever can. Moreover let me assure you, the Holy Quran says, "Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from error"[Al-Qur’an 2:256] Additionally let me clarify, that the cartoons were a very childish act of the Danish cartoonist. Hurting someone's sentiments will obviously arouse a reaction. And you may be indifferent to religion and sentiments, but in the real world people are sentimentally attached to their religions.
  Right now, what you are saying barely affects me because it is visible that you speak without knowing anything about what you pretend to know. It would be much better if you did a tad bit of research on Islam, human psychology and world affairs, and then returned with some actual information for another attempt on debating.

Anyway, I'm sure once you're better acquainted with Islam you'll find it much better than you do right now. As for the sectarian hatred - it is an uninvited problem created by the uneducated portions of the Muslim Society. If you come to any Muslim country you won't find people randomly fighting due to sectarian differences. Thanks to the media hostilities are further glorified and presented much more colorfully than they actually are. Also, it is not Muslims who are imposing religion upon others. You won't find any country threatened by an overdose of Islam-ism except the ones that are already populated with a majority of muslims. In fact you'll find the world's superpower pushing its way into other countries trying to "liberate" them. A liberation which is a big fat lie, serving only to destruct the richly oil populated Middle-East. Give it a thought.

  Second while America has its own problems with some of these people, Bush is an idiot for example.  The west (which includes Europe) has largely separated itself from the list of Americans you mentioned yet this didn't prevent death threats for cartoons.  One they weren't that offensive to begin with.  Two I could easily find much more offensive modern cartoons about Christians or Jews that didn't have ANY effect.  Three violence is NEVER the right answer for a cartoon.
   
  You still haven't explained why you (I assume) and other moderate muslims weren't pissed off when a man was TRIED FOR DEATH, because he converted his religion. 
   
  You won't find a country threatened by an overdose of Islamism that wasn't already populated?  How bout Britan where a fourth of its Muslim population believes that the terrorist actions of 7/7 were justified.  How bout the fact that the government is considering informing local Imams BEFORE arresting muslims in Muslim neighborhoods. 
   
  Not to mention the basic fact that you base your actions on fairy tale, I spend just as much if not more time bashing Christians because honestly they are a bigger problem.  They just vote rather than bomb.
