On April 3rd 2007, Xing event was hosted by 1bib.com in its main office in Guangzhou, China. The exact location of www.1bib.com office is C-9A, Tianhe Software Park Keyun Road 33-49, Guangzhou. Xing events offered the opportunity to professionals and individuals from any walk of life to establish professional network in this modern social and business world. The concept of Xing event is similar to ‘OPEN Business club’. It offers a social platform to develop long-term networking, create business opportunities and share views on any topics. It also provides a great tool to manage contacts. It was the fourth time the event was taking place in Guangzhou.
The Xing event was organized by Matthias Conradt of SYSVISION Ltd, a Hong Kong based company offering IT and online consulting services. SYSVISION also has office in Guangzhou and Germany. The purpose of Xing event is for establishing long term networking and contact management for professionals, create business opportunities, business discussion, and E-commerce. Therefore, the Xing event is a fundamental tool for professionals in this modern business world.
Although the weather was rather grey with some signs of rain, nearly 40 people came to the www.1bib.com office for the event.. Most visitors arrived at 7.00pm. People from Mercedes-Benz China, Sohu.com, Chinacars, cnexp.net and a number of other online, IT joined the event.
After the registration completed and welcome the guests, Matthias gave a brief introduction about this event, and 1bib.com. After which, Honglian Tan, CEO of www.1bib.com gave a warm welcome to all guests. Honglian introduced 1bib and its services, the recent and upcoming development and the investment opportunity. She also presented the fundamentals and the main drivers behind the ‘E-commerce for the used car industry in China’ . The second speaker was Chooli Ye, CEO of BIEngine Internet Technology Ltd, who discussed about ‘Online Officing, Spam Your Desktop Software’. After the presentation, the crowd was divided into small groups for business discussion. The Xing event was surrounded by classical music, candle sticks, food and beverages. This suggests that the occasion was an ideal place for business and social discussion.
During the event, the crowd was able to merge and create some fascinating business discussion. At one corner, Christoph (Mercedes Benz) and Miss Quan Zhang (Chinacars) were discussing about automobile industry. At another corner, Mr Chu (CEO of Sheng Shi trading Ltd) and some guests were discussing about the international trading issue. Some of the www.1bib.com employees were also chatting with the guests, and it turned out that they came from the same province in China. What a coincidence! As time flew, it was already 11 p.m. But it seemed that some of the guests were reluctant to leave the event, because they were really enjoying themselves!
