Today was the best day of the past two weeks.
First I had my first chemo treatment and everything went well. I didn't get sick or anything yet so that's good. I didn't have and allergic reaction to the one med in my chemo, but we found out I may be allergic to the plastic surgical tape they used when the port was put in.
When they weighed me last week I was at 113..aka danger zone for my weight class. Today I was 118 so I gain 5 pounds in the past week! How awesome is that!!!! Again I got some prescriptions and my boss didn't charge me and the other pharmacist gave me some dark chocolate fudge he made so YUM!
I got bold and asked cutie Alex to come keep me company. He had plans with his friends so I told him he has to make it up to me and winked at him twice (through text messages) and we debated on whether or not the winky faces needed to have a meaning so I'm not sure if he's trying to get me to admit I'm interested in him or not. But he has been the one messaging me every other day with smiley faces and stuff to make me laugh and he "laid down the law" and said I'm not allow to "be in the valley" as his dad told me or he'd do something (undecided right now).
Anyway I did get bold and attempted to get him to come over some other time though teehee. I told a good friend about the cancer and I did NOT cry when I told her. I have one more friend left to tell. I'm eating my parents outta house and home cause I am just hungry now. I'm getting my complexion back and my energy back. I'm just in a happy mood and so excited I just needed to share that with you.

Its good that you arent blue anymore so you don t need to worry for color coordination ..LOL.......

I'd love a couple of pairs of summer sandals and a skirt ...at least one...flowing...print..something bright.

I'm totally up for the shoe shopping! I have been looking for a new pair of high heel boots.
Well it's been a few days since the chemo and I am still feeling good. I was starting to feel a little down then got an email from an old professor that brought my spirits up. As are the text message from Alex. I'll keep you guys posted with things with him too...my boss was laughing saying I'm the only one who can get cancer and a possible boyfriend at the same time lol.

Rmuxa........now.... if something any disease should teach us (and in many case they do) is that we have to live as no tomorrow.
So be bold and you ask him out.....what do you have to lose? If he says no, well, another guy will arrive and better don't waste time waiting for someone who is not interestes anyway..
But if he says yes..oh, girl...then we really have are a reason for shopping (condoms too.)....LOL.....Smell the rose....

LOL ginger. He did make a comment yesterday asking me if i ever had a wiener from a Dean...his mom wasn't to happy with the comment but I had naughty comments I had to keep to myself since we were in a church setting.
