It was my last day in Berlin two years ago. I had taken mum with me but it was too late for her to enjoy it. Her Alzheimer got worse when she was there.
Now it was time to go home. When i woke up in the morning I thought it was early, to early to wake up. But some time later I looked at my watch and it showed the same time.
Of course it had stopped when it was inconvenient.
I had no time to get a new battery. At the airport I bought a watch.
Yesterday after i had showed the last client the house my watch stopped. Again it was not convenient.
.I had to be on the go all day to day and twice I was at the real estate
office. I had to be on time there
Anyway I have a battery for my old
watch now. It is a more comfortable watch and even after having been
stop for two years it is ticking now
So I ask you is it at any time convenient when the watch stops? And was is fate that made my watch stop at the house yesterday? I know very well that the battery was old.

Skald, so "odd" that you should write about this. . .since my watch stopped this week too. . .I only have one watch, it was given to me by my friends from a company I worked at in SA when I left to go and work elsewhere. . .so its is very special to me. I need to take it in to the jewellers to get a new battery. My husband's watched stopped last week. . .can you believe it??? Perhaps, April is the month for new batteries! LOLLuv Polar xox -

i think i have 2 watches that i need new batteries for, but haven't bothered b/c i find that i prefer not having one--i always found them a tad uncomfortable, and i use my mobile phone now to tell the time.
