i know there's a number of folks who aren't fans of fantasy or sci-fi but i figured it might still be interesting. :> i'll post my results after a few comments.

    superman 75%
    robin 68%
    hulk 55%
    iron man 55%
    green lantern 55%
    the flash 45%
    supergirl 43%
    wonder woman 38%
    batman 35%
    catwoman 35%

on this quiz, i also got susan ivanova, so don't fret GS, you weren't alone. :>

BW, super z: that's somehow appropriate if you ask me. :>

sexsi bee: welcome to my blog and thank you for visting! i don't believe i've ever encountered anyone who got that response. that's pretty nifty, if you ask me. :>

dylm: hey, there's definitely worse people to match up as! and thanks for the link to the superhero quiz--i will take it in a while & post my results.

wombat: delenn is an amazing character. i'm glad you enjoyed it! :D

GS: ivanova is the result i got, too. and if i had to pick for you, i would have picked her, too. :> ivanova's cool.

kay: holy crap, i didn't know that anakin was a possible result!

CW: cool. i can see that. :>

ali: that's weird, i can't seem to see the response--i'm glad you clarified in your second comment. like i said to kay, i didn't know that was even an option!

curmudgeon: yeah, i rather like this quiz myself. i was once identified as most resembling C3PO by an acquaintance. :>

    boyzmom: that's a good result!

TS: i agree somewhat--b5 was the best sci-fi on TV until firefly, IMHO. and your result seems to fit you quite well. :>

minniemouse: well, he's also from the novels by j. r. r. tolkien, but the movies are probably a lot more accessible. :>

    wombat: bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!

broken and used: i didn't think the criminal justice one was that difficult. and sheridan's an excellent result--a born leader and a man of convictions.

mom: another galadriel--that doesn't surprise me in the least. :>

moon: you know, i've seen this quiz done in several places but you're the only spock i've ever seen. that's pretty nifty!

swizzle: galadriel is not exactly an uncommon result. :>

blast: awesome! gandalf is teh shiz.

fatesblade: actually, i can see it. :>

tobi-lee: now that's interesting, that result sorta surprises me but i guess that just means i don't know you particularly well just yet.

botoni: aw, c'mon--revealing metal stuff doesn't appeal to you? :D

rww, beyond: that you guys got galadriel doesn't really surprise me--i think i see those traits in both of you.

daydreamdestiny: that's a very cool result, if you ask me. :>

thad: welcome to my blog, and thanks for visiting! beast is an excellent result--he's a great character.

petitepapillon: i can see that fitting you quite well. :>

main: welcome to my blog and thank you for visiting! i didn't know they included stargate characters in the mix...cool!

    miss b: that's awesome. :>

    Which Fantasy/SciFi Character Are You?

I am: Galadriel from the Lord of The Rings

Possessing a rare combination of wisdom and humility, while serenely dominating your environment you selflessly use your powers to care for others.

Even the smallest person can change the course of the future.

Galadriel is a character in the Middle-Earth universe.

And so am I, very dangerous: more dangerous than anything you will ever meet, unless you are brought alive before the seat of the Dark Lord.

  • silverwhisper said on Jul 26, 2007....
ah, the narnia books must've led to the tolkien books, i daresay. would that be accurate? :>

interesting, the disagreements the two had about how to write or not write about their respective faiths, i thought.

    ed
  • lidstrom82 said on Jul 26, 2007....
I was aware that Lewis was instrumental in introducing Tolkien to Catholicism, and I know Tolkien was adamant about LotR not being Christian allegory.

Actually, I wasn't much for reading as a kid, and my parents didn't have books to grow up with, so I didn't read LotR until after I saw the first movie! And my wife got the Narnia books later in life too, and I've read the first few but not the whole series.

Despite that, I'm about to finish my first novel. Go figure!
  • silverwhisper said on Jul 26, 2007....
i think that re: lewis, the lion, the witch & the wardrobe is the strongest work which serves well to anchor the rest of the series, but i felt that the quality trailed off with each installment, except for the final battle.

good luck with the writing, lidstrom!
