  my bosses....I can't believe that some people on this planet have no comprehension for the well being of their staff! I have been a boss before and NEVER treated my employees the way that my bosses treat me! But that's the name of the game...I just hate it sometimes!

  that's very, very frustrating. i had one job once where i had 2 bosses: one in the office and one on another continent. perversely, the latter was responsible for my review process. ed

  I'm calmed down now. I spoke with my husband and he explained to me that no matter where I go...there's a good chance that I have an asshole supervisor. All I really want is to be happy to go to work when I wake up...is that too much to ask?!

  no, it really isn't. your husband is generally right, but in my current job, my boss is actually a nice guy. as a manager, he's tough but fair, which is really as good as you can hope for, IMX. ed

  Yeah I know...I"m getting my driver's licence and then I'm going to take that job I was offered I think. The day I posted the blog my boss pissed me off and then scheduled my written exam apointment online, I was that mad.

  The problem is mid-level-managment... They are your supervisors/Teamleaders etc and the reason they are assholes is simple. They are trying to get to managment level by increasing stomping all over you. The problem with that is that when they get the impression you are not working hard enough they get on your back and are often harsh. They dont care how you feel, they dont care if you have job satisfaction because all you are is there meal ticket to a nice office, a comfy chair and maybe even a chance to improve there non existant sex lives by hiring a secretary that they think will sleep with them.

  It dosnt matter whether you are the hardest worker in the world, most of the time it is about how they want to be viewed by there bosses. Alot of the time, they believe that by treating you like shit they are going to be given a pat on the back for being a boss that dosnt let anyone slip up or slouch. Just make sure that if he behaves in a way that is not acceptable to you then you make it clear to him that he needs to treat you with respect or that you will go to hius boss and make a complaint about the way he is treating you. The last thing he will want is to have his boss recieve a complaint about his un-proffesional behaviour.

  The problem is that I work for a small company...and the only solution is leaving, it sucks contrary to what I said...I love my job but I HATE my boss. I've been here for 6 years so i'm kinda attached to my clients and I don't want to leave them just like that...unfortunatly it will happen soon!

  I got in trouble yesterday for sending my insurance claim with one of the company's enveloppes yesterday... I can't believe that people have nothing better to do with their time!
