Sometimes I dream about the most awful things. Once I dreamed that a friend of mine died, in graphic detail. Once I dreamed about having sex with a relative of mine. It made me feel so awful, so.....icky- absolutely dirty.
I have recurring dreams that I am driving and suddenly remember that I have forgotten my four year old. In my dream, I turn around and stare at her empty car seat, and realize I have no idea where I have left her. It is awful!
I often dream that I am shouting and screaming at my mom. My mom is the sweetest woman, and I love her with all my heart. So why do I dream these things?
I have another recurring dream that I am in a maze and a man is chasing me. I try and try to get out and can't, but he comes closer and closer. I am 36 years old and still wake up in a cold sweat over my nightmares.

Do you ever have dreams that freak you out? Ones that make you question if you are all there?

You don't have any control over the weird cast of characters your subconscious directs in your dreams, so don't feel guilty. It might be interesting to try and fugure out what they mean. Kruuyai had a post awhile back about dream interpretation and so did Tinkerman I believe. I'll try to look for them tomorrow. Sweet and happy dreams tonight!

She......i have learned that we dont have to be scared by our dreams or feel any emotions toward beside the curiosity of understanding them...

I like to think of dreams as the way in which my deeper fears and hopes shape themselves when my subconcious have easy access to my surface level....its not you that forgot your 4 yrs old therefore you are a mean mother........actually its your deep fear to ever loose him that makes you having that dream ...you are a great mom.......your fear acts out because even the thought of losing your kids is so scary during the day that you push it down inside yourself......

Again, its not you screaming to your mom...you love her..you are screaming to the you who might have acted in a way you are not proud of ...how many times we treat our loved ones in a way that we regrer later? It doesn mean we dont love them...

The man chasing you is the more sexual dream of yours...it could act out some fear of a deep relationship with men......you should dig and think about it...

dreams give you a hint of your deep yourself..

instead of havign shame of them read them, just surrend to their flow...

they are there for helping us

    they can be as weird as you get...but it doesn't mean you are as weird as they are...{{{hugs}}}

she- I've had many dreams I'm certainly not proud of, most of them violent and I'm not a violent person. Dreams are uncontrolable and don't reflect who you are. They probably reflect something in your life as ginger described.

My sister asked if she could share my email address with someone who was a classmate of mine back in high school. I said yes, of course. Right there, I should have given that more thought.

Got a bubbly email from her, and I responded in equ...
First of all, the first time I can sleep in almost a week.....
She is just the sweetest girl. But she scares the hell out of me. And she equally bores me to death....
Or like it really fucking matters...
I wonder how he does it sometimes, my little yoda. He called me at 2:15 am last night. It's ok, me and my chattering thoughts were wide awake.

"Do not become your doubts," he said quietly.

Ah - but there are so many of them, Yo...
