i hired this 17 year old girl from samar to look after my baby last january 11 of this year. because i was about to go back to work in february then. she was a petite woman with a little experience in taking care of babies. she said she came from a big family and she used to attend to her young siblings. she added that she knows how to do household chores as well. so i accepted her and gave her the duty to be an all-around household help.

little did i know that after treating her like family, she would dare to do the unexpected. here's the story.

she said that she'll go to her aunt's house in pasig on march 28. i thought she'll just pay her aunt a visit and would return immediately. but she said that she had decided to stay with her aunt for good. though it was so sudden, i accepted her resignation and wished her good luck.

two days ago, i received a text message from my sister-in-law that their P10,000 savings was missing. i remembered that last sunday we went to their house in tandang sora. my son was sleeping upstairs with his yaya. hmmm....

i promised my sister-in-law that i will check my yaya's bag before she leaves because she is the primary suspect. unfortunately, we failed to recover the lost money.

maybe she took it. maybe not.
