I was thinking of what I'd like to know about 'my friends' and came up with a simple list. Now that you've opened this discussion, you have to do it ... otherwise that's just mean!

Ed - drinking margaritas ! which flavour ? You have to tell me a bit more of a 'munster' sandwich as I've never heard of it before. I'm Indian and don't know what is 'indian ice tea' - did I miss something somewhere ? how far do you have to commute for work ? drive or public transport ?
Zayda - I'm loving what you're wearing already ! I wish I was girly enough to wear that - but I feel 'constricted' ! My mom's name is Saroj :-) I've always found it to be a beautiful name because of what it means. What do you teach ?

dazediva, you're indian? i'm not but am learning a bit about your cuisine. i have a great fondness for vindaloo, masala and makhani sauces. the margaritas were quite tasty, but of the general variety, which is lime. munster is a style of british cheese. indian iced tea is a version of chai, although not being too familiar with indian teas, i can't be much more specific. milk's been added to it, that much i do know, and it's lovely. my commute is about 1 hour and change and is public transport--rail, in fact. :>

Hey Ed - yes I am 100% Indian .. British Born though :) Looks like you enjoy the spicy stuff (just like your writings!) If you ever want a recipe, let me know (for vegetarian dishes only) and I'll get my mom to give them to me (she's arriving tonight !!)
Munster - didn't know that it was a British cheese - will have to look for it when I'm out grocery shopping next. I love having cheese !
This Indian Iced Tea .. if it's got milk in it - it's sounding a bit like 'chai' gone cold :P Do you just put a tea bag into cold water and add milk ? or have I got it all wrong ?

dazediva: heh...yes, i'm quite fond of spicy food, and the way spices are used so skillfullly in indian cuisine absolutely intrigues me. the use of ghee is positively extraordinary. i'd be most interested in a chick pea mahkani or korma recipe, actually.
this indian iced tea--yes, it's a chai, the cardamom, rose water and other flavors make that indisputable. i made a mistake, btw, no milk is involved. i don't know what type of tea is used in the preparation--i first encountered it at an indian restaurant. when we try to reproduce it at home, we use darjeeling with cardamom and rose water. there may be one or two other flavors but i'm not certain, it's been a while.
