  no telling how long it's going to take. they told us to mail our forms in so it should take the standard 8 weeks.
   
  i thought about calling her out on all the terrible things she's ruined for me.
   
  1. Last year she refused to go to my bridal shower
  2. She also refused to drive to our reception or even send a congratulatory card.
  3. Kicked me off her health insurance when I turned 19, I am still without health insurance.
  4. Plus all the terrible countless things she did to me while I was living at home.
   
  I've given up all hope of the two of us having a civil relationship.

  Snitching on your own parents probably will never leave a good taste in your mouth, especially over something like money....money is sooooo replaceable, but you only get one set of parents, for better or worst, they are all you get.  Shame on you.

  A fair reading of her post says this is more of a revenge thing done in anger rather than in "abiding within Law" as its push off as.
  
  It did not cost her the "education"....she said it "could have".
  
  After the way she treated me the other day, she can get what's coming to her....

  Cam, she wouldn't have been able to file her taxes if she didn't report her mother. 
   
  It was I, that recommend that KD call the IRS, or a lawyer when her mother made the threat that she (KD) should call a lawyer first.  Yes, her mother said that first.  It seemed, to me anyway, from KD's original post where she first made mention of her situation, that her mother doesn't care about her one way or another.  I felt HORRIBLE, and I still do. 
   
  What parent would attempt to screw with their child's education and still feel like they could call themself a Mother or a Father? So far you're right, it did not cost her the education, but the fact that it could have is enough.
   
  I wasn't aware of a tiff between you two.

  I have no tiff with her whatsoever, in fact I am truely sorry she has a Mother as you describe.  I just could not for the life of me turn on my parents for any reasons whatsoever....none.
  
  But, if I offender you or her, I am man enough to say I am sorry for having done so.
  
  I just see this nation becoming a nation of snitches without limits and if I remember my history, last time this much efforts was placed upon the public to become snitches on family, friends and neighbors, that campaign was led by Hitler, and this still America last I looked.
  
  I snitch on nobody, but I guess I can't expect others to understand that.

  A nation of snitches...I personally, wouldn't go that far.  Where's the nation of law abiding citizens?  Almost gone...
   
  I couldn't ever see myself not speaking to either of my Parent's for any reason.  However, if I was brought up with a Mother like hers, I would hope that I rid her from my life to prevent more problems.
