Why 12 Children?!  :Childhood Dream.

This was my childhood dream: to be a poor woman living in a cabin in the woods.
with lots of kids.

I could not see/ did not know what to think about - a husband - so the single-mom part was in there too.

How many of you are living your childhood dream?  (this might come as a surprise... it did to me!) :>

let's see...i think my childhood dream was to be an aeronautic engineer. of course, given that i'm terrible with math, that became impossible pretty quickly. i also wanted to be a pilot, but i wear glasses, so that was shot down pretty fast, too.

but the childhood dream i did realize was finding my soulmate and marrying her.

when i was in my teens i imagined myself with lots of little blonde kids wearing overalls.  lol!  i have 3.  they did wear overalls as toddlers.

front- Childhood to me is pre-teen. To the age of twelve, I never gave marriage and having children a single thought.

It was sports, airplanes, and space. None of those came true. During my teens it was mainly having fun and doing well in school. After that, life took over.

Silver: so happy for you...to have found your soulmate.  WHO wants or needs to fly anyway?/

Secret... cool.  three is the hardest number.. or so I found.  It got lots easier after that... up until.. well, perhaps the 8 against one.. thing.  I was never fond of overalls... for myself: i hated trying to go to the bathroom.. seems like one end or another would end up in the water...

beyond the veil:  I had the thoughts at age 7 or 8... by teenage ,I was not interested in marriage or kids at all... it was the religious journey that saw me getting married to a bloke who... pursued me. by then, it had become a religious obligation... sort of.  I imagine the early considerations were some what a responce or reaction due to being in such a large family... seeing it first hand and having long conversations with my mom at  young age.  don't know.. never was much for play, as a kid... more art and music.. piano.. I had to WAIT until I was 7 and could read to take lessons. .. it seemed like a long time to me.
