My husband sent our cassette cum cd player for repairs lately becuae the tiny button to switch from cd to radio to cassette is a bit loose though the cd and cassette compartment can still be used. The only problem is that sometimes, the sound fades away because that button is loose.
We took the player to the dealer's shop to repair and they charge us RM40 for the repair but we felt it so unfair because after the repair, the cd and cassette compartment can no longer be used. Isn't this ironic?
Why then repair in the first place? I wish the government would help us consumers by allowing only qualified persons to do this type of repairs and not cause the consumers worse damages.
Before the repair, I could still lsiten to songs via cds and cassettes but after the repair, I can't. Given such situations, we tend to ask " to repair or not to repair?
