So yeah, I went to see the Horrorpops on saturday night...which happened to be an adventure in it's own. First off, I got a flat tire about two hours before the show was going to start. I drove home and got some tools out to change the tire. Then we (my brother and sister) drove out to anahiem as fast as possible. I get lost after I end up in anahiem and realize later that if I had stayed on the same street the whole way, I would have been next to Disneyland. We get to Downtown Disney about 8:20 and rush to the house of blues. We wait in line surrounded by psychobillys and the fierce stink of clove cigarettes. I saw some people that I knew in line, however these happen to be the kind of people that I have been avoiding since graduating from high school. In line, I happened to run into a twin of my friend Ash (and yeah, I took a blurry photo of him on my sisters phone) and was tripping on that while waiting to get in. When we had gotten in to the House of Blues, I quickly got as close to the stage as possible. I kinda got stuck next to the mosh pit and was thrown around a little during the night. I stood there and about ten minutes later, the show was starting. The first band to come on stage was "Left Alone" Their lead singer started off by downing half a bottle of Jack Daniels, and then began to play. They played hard punk rock in their duration of the set, with a quick mention of the drummers birthday (in which everyone sang happy birthday, in their best "punk" voice) and how alcohol was God's gift to men. Then a band called "The Briefs" came on. They played surfer/skater rock which was really good. My brother, during the set was sat on by the lead singer of Left Alone when he had gotten into the mosh pit. They were a little less eventful , but I prefered their songs to Left Alone. Then there was a long wait for the horrorpops to come out. I kinda started to shout out random stuff, which appealed to some in the crowd. Then the horrorpops came out. The first thing that happened was that the lead singer from Left Alone came with a bottle of Jaggermeister and handed it to Patricia (Lead singer from the horrorpops). She drank a bit of it and started to play. The rest of the night was non-stop shouting lyric and getting pushed to and fro. It seems that the whole bottom floor of the show had turned into a mosh pit, but everyone was game. In that mosh pit I believe I was hit almost 20 times in the back, had my foot stomped on about 10 times, and got punched in the head by an asian chick. my sister had her hair pulled like two times and was punched in the chest once. The night was finished when the band took a last request, I let all the voices die down and then shouted as loud as I could "WHERE THEY WANDER!!!" which the band actually picked. Made me feel like I told them what to play (even though it 's one of the best songs they have) So then we got out of there, drenched in sweat, didn't have to pay for parking and ate norms in orange (which is so much better than eating it here in riverside). Then headed home. I seriously had so much fun that night. and I am fully addicted to the horrorpops now. And if for some reason you don't like the horrorpops...then "You can na-na-na-na-na yourself!!!"

Who thought it could be so simple?...
She's so cute!...
Spinning some wax tracks for ya......
Love them or hate them?

I am old enough to remember the Saturday Night Fever craze. The soundtrack filled with Bee Gees songs will always be one of my favorites. I got caught up in the disco fever of the day....
