I'm just as curious as all get out as to what some of your names/handles/whatever they are called nowdays mean!!!!
Those of you who know me know that mine: NotTheOfficeWhore comes from my posts of being considered one just cause of the way I look. People always assume I'm a slut cause I'm not half-bad looking, my male coworkers (BOSS) are pigs and the females hate me. But you also know I go by Sunny because it was my childhood nickname. So while you'll see NTOW all the time for Not The Office Whore, I'm actually Sunny.
What about you????? How'd you come up with your name??? SPILL IT!!!!!

What's in a name? Honestly its the name of one of my main charachters when I write and since it is fairly unique I now just use it everywhere in an attempt to gather a fanbase should I ever publish. -

My sc name is the name I use to publish some of my editorials in magazines. The ones I don't want my peers to know its me because some of them are a little out there, rude, leud and to be honest I stir the pot with editroials that are not what I actualy believe in.I also publish in my real name but you know people tell me to shut up all the time because I go on and on and ON. therefore the lucy lose lips part and torial because I am like listening to a an epic oration. -

We ALL love minniemouse!!! And that IS a good story! These are just the kinds of stories I was hoping for. As we all talk back and forth, and as I get to adore all of you, I sit and wonder, "Hmmmmm...why that particular name?" and now I have a mental image of why. I love that!!!
And MissMimi, that's why I chose NTOW! I figured, HOPED, that no one in real life would guess that was me. Especially since everyone at work thinks I AM the office whore! Hee hee hee. You never know if the person sitting across from you at the office is a SC member, so you gotta have a name that no one would recognize. No one knows I used to be called Sunny as a child, so that works perfectly too.

As for TinSoldier, I am a fan of both the Billy Jack theme song "One Tin Soldier" by Coven as well as Hans Christian Anderson's story about the Steadfast Tin Soldier. I chose it several years ago (pre-internet) as a BBS nick.
I've used another nick that is pretty close to my real name but when I joined some forums and here I decided to stick with the tried and true.
