Well, today's nearly over. As far as I'm concerned at least. I only had one class today. Psychology of Women. It's a very interesting class and kind of impowering, however at times when subjects reach close to home...uncomfortable.

For example: my dream job is to be a stay at home mom. I don't think I will ever have a passion so great as to nurture a child. In this class though, we talk so much about breaking stereotypes and such that it seems like that "profession" is really frowned upon. This of course doesn't change the fact that it's my goal in life, it just makes me feel very inferior to women who have "risen above" to establish themselves in the workforce. idk. my professor always makes me feel like its a lazy idea or something. WHATEVER

I'm a man but I know those feelings of wanting to have a child. I was hell on wheels until I was about 38. Then due to a cult in Los Angeles I kind of transformed. For the first time ever I felt comfident enough to be a dad. I was in my second marriage and had not wanted kids out of fear they would be like me.

11 years later I'm divorced--but see my kids ( I had another 1 year after the first) everyday, I home school them as well as raise them. My ex has them at night. We have a great relationship for a divorced couple, and it works for us. But the feeling I have about being a dad and how lucky I am just blows my mind every moment of every day.

I'm also glad I waited as long as I did. Had I been any younger I'd still been partying and acting a fool: missing out on experiencing life and teaching them about the world. There isn't a feeling I've found that compares with being a parent.

Best of luck with your college and future.
