Well sometimes things look bad, life aint so fantastic and the people round ya piss you off. Home can be a war zone, work can get ya down, life in general can be a druge.
Today I took a deeper look at things and decided I'm a very lucky person :-D
I wear glasses and it gets harder by the year to read the small stuff but I'm not blind.
I'm getting balder as time goes on, so what I shave my head, been doing so for ten years and like it, not a problem. :-)
My bones sometimes ache in a morning from bike crashes and falls and kickings but I wake to see the morning.
My kid pisses me off with her attitude to everything, at least she's around to piss me off.
My partner and I have very little in common but we "spoon" and the world is OK.
Its looking like I'm going to see another summer, God willing, I have friends who wont.
I have a roof over my head and food on the table, many dont.
I've lost my family over the years but at they wont ever suffer my demise.
My only brother moved to another continent 25 years ago but we dont interact enough to fall out so we'll always love each other.
Yea I'm a lucky guy. :-D

That's a very positive way to look at life. I agree that when everything seems like its going haywire, its time to stop and start "counting our blessings". . .then we gain some perspective on how blessed we really are.God Bless!Polar -

Your attitude is what i am always trying to get in to when i am not on top of my game....i list my reason to be lucky and i am lucky to have a long list.
Sometimes its easy to get lost and be swamped by the darkness of the future and the grey of the present....a golden yellow reminder like this list lifts up the spirit and make us see that at the end nothing is lost. Everything can be obtained. And if not it doesn't mean we are bad peopel.

Ginger, You got the attitude girlfriend and looking at the pics of your homeland you posted just thinking back to that should dismiss any blues :-D I agree with the "everything can be obtained" bit too mate, it just takes effort and passion :-)
Silver, Yea so true mate. I believe everything is relative to perspective, if that makes sense :-) It (Everything) could have always been worse couldnt it?
