Was watching Mtv and this one guy asked another when is the last time you went spooning it? WTF is spooning? How do you do it? Actually, the use of the word "spooning" is probably older than most of you reading this. It used to mean what later came to be called "petting:" physical contact just short of actual intimacy. Safe at the time, become Mom would sew the boyfriend into a bag before allowing him to sleep with daughter (courting covered some long distances sometimes) without running risks.
That's my story as I remember it.
