  Gee....I feel like I have the same boss.  She knows nothing and has the position that entitles her to make huge decisions that effect everyone.  It's awful.  She's a total moron.  I feel your pain.

  This kind of micromanagement is based on their fear that you, their subordinate, is better able to do their job than they are themselves. What is really happening is that they're watching you and hoping to get you to agree with their own inadequate solutions, to put a lid on, and denigrate your superior talent. This same 'manager/boss' will also degrade your input at management meetings, and possibly even get you fired,- they often misapply their position, using their 'rank' to sustain themselves in their job. They will also put the boot into any application you might make for promotion. The solution is 'Fight or Flight' as ever. - The personalities and situation are unique to every case.   My last boss must be your boss' relative...I don't know how this person came to be the manager of a store, but she did. She is completly destroying that store. When I worked there everyother day she would have a new set of rules, and she didn't follow any of them. Her buddies in the store didn't have to follow them either. She was a complete Hitler and had to have things her way, the last manager we had was soooo cool, everyone was used to that way of management.
