  I also wear thongs 90% of the time. For me, I just don't like panty lines. That is the only reason I wear them. And after a while, they don't feel any different than regular panties.
   
  I don't like them on men though. It is a complete turn off for me. I like men that wear boxers or boxer briefs....no thongs. :)

  Thongs are not generally worn by women to come across as slutty.  If you think that you are way underestimating any woman.
   
  They wear them to stop panty lines on clingy clothes.  That's pretty much it.
   
  For men it's generally about sex if they're wearing them I've seen so perhaps that's why you're thinking that way about the women too Aristotle. 
   
  But for women it's truly not anymore than any other underwear.  It's practicality and prettiness all bundled together.

  Guys wearing thongs is gay! Me wearing a thong is refreshing. My hubby loves when my huge ass cheeks stick out and gets turned on. I love especially in the summer when it's too hot for clothes! They look great under your clothes too especially certain outfits! They even had a song about them.
   Slutty for women? NO! And you are not worried about something being stuck up your butt or rising into it b/c the thong stays in place!

  Agree there's absolutely no relationship between how adventurous a woman is sexually and whether she wears a thong or not. Some women in fact like the idea of looking conservative on the outside and being  wicked. ;)
   
  Thongs shouldn't be uncomfortable if they fit properly. I wear them sometimes...with pants mostly, but sometimes with a skirt or summer dress in the summer.
   
  I feel sexy when I wear them...but it's more for me than someoen else...though someone may reap the benefits. ;)
