Why do religions fight amongst each other constantly? If you look in history and follow it all the way back to as far as humanity recorded it...you can find that all religions have common factors....which leads to believe that religion has a source but has been broken off several times..but thats not my point right now...

My point is why religions fight ...cause they all believe they are the right path and are very passionate about it...

But this is going to be the downfall of the world cause no one will listen to anybody else...

The human factor is that humanity was born with the craving for power...a craving for acceptance...humans fight for power in Gods(Chiros) name and feel that they are justified in religions name...

this is the human side any Holy scripture tells its followers to spread the good word so that they my to share in the everlasting light.....but this goes to the extremes dating all the way back to the birth of the Roman Catholic Church...cause as humans...when we are met with resistance ..for some reason our first urge is to conquer and make them believe...I mean how many wars have been fought over religion....how many people have died for what they believe or were taught to believe...would the supreme being many call God want it this way?....

If you take out the human factor from all religion you can get to the nitty gritty of it as they say...if you lose the I'm right and your wrong attitude....if we strive for a common ground instead of fighting about every little difference....if you take religion as a whole...delete the human factor ....we can find the true path to the light...

So I guess what I'm saying is this....all the bloodthirsty leaders...all the crusaders...all the people who argue I'm right your wrong...take this for what it is ...the human factor..and don't blame or bash any certain religion or group for the actions of humanity....cause religion is so much bigger than that...

blessed be ..

How about taking religion out of the equation? Would humans still fight wars? The answer is yes!

Humans don't only fight over ideology. They also compete and fight over available resources - water, arable land, mates, hunting grounds, you name it, we compete for it. The competition can have ground rules or it can degenerate into total war.

And yes, there is also a pecking order in every society, the top spots we all compete for in some way. Decisions cannot always be made by consensus, because total consensus is rarely if ever achieved. Some positions of leadership are attained through elections, others are taken by force.

Even if we do have common ground, chances are we will wind up fighting over it.

That's the way it's always been and I don't see it changing anytime soon.

Yes I can see that...so..(humans and the religion factor)..I agree that if you take religion out of the equation humanity would still act the way that they do...but  wouldn't you think thing might get worse? cause ideology keeps some things from running over...sometimes..
