It's a waste of time, money and resources without any benefit but a bite in the groin.
The long term solution is, partition Iraq into 3 parts: Northern Iraq, Center Iraq, and Southern Iraq.
3 Iraqs became a commonwealth of Iraq. Each govern independently. The commonwealth Iraq allow it's citizens free flow and migration.
Northern Iraq is govern and run by majority Kurd where Center is Sunni and Southern for Shia
To make thing easy, coalition forces assign to secure the 2 division border line. Any side try to stir a cross border war, indiscriminately shot and blow up their armory and possible trial for aggression war crime.
To Unify Iraq is their duty in the future when they mature and ready.
That save lots of lives and unnecessary expenditures with no returns.
How's that sound? Ha Ha!

Partition is a great idea. whether they continue to fight, at least there is a glory excuse for us to get our butts out from the hell hole and transfer our responsibility to their own hand.
