I'm in a wedding this November and up until this point, the bride has been so easy going, it was refreshing, if not a bit ridiculous. But now, I see the term Bridezilla slowly coming into fruition and it is not a pretty sight!! She's taken control of the bridal shower and all that goes with it. She changed the date, so that people who were working weekends and had taken off for the late August date, now have to change it to late September. We were planning cute favors which she vetoed and changed, along with the theme. Then, the bridal party had wanted to put together a poster board of the couple's life together, but then someone blabbed it to the bride and she demeaned it as tacky. So I came up with a photo/guestbook that would have the same sentiments involved, but much easier to store, and surprise surprise, the bride thought that was a lovely idea...and is making one herself. And don't get me started on her registry, which consists of practically nothing...this will make our Italian relatives boiling mad! She's even trying to find out secret plans for her bachlorette party, which thanks to the date change, is happening before the bridal shower. Although we know she just wants a nice relaxing weekend getaway, I feel like getting a big sweaty stripper just to rub it in her face (uh...not literally!) that she can't control everything!!
