I think my name is Oedipus. Oedipus Blue. I don’t really know who I am, what I am, or where I come from! What I do know, is that I woke up to a vulture picking at my eyebrow, in the middle of a dessert in February 2007. I managed to kill the vulture with my shoelace, cook it for dinner with a fire sparked from my glasses, and carve its bones to form a formidable weapon against the menacing rattlesnakes and coyotes. I found a backpack baking in the dust with a picture of me, labeled Oedipus Blue. In the back, was a strange code, or illegible handwriting…I think. I managed to find route sixty-six two days later, where a hideous one-eyed biker found me. His name: Joe. He dropped me off in front of gas station, handed me two keys, and said: The tower lies in the west. Good luck on your journey, Oedipus Blue. He then sped off northward. Funny, I don’t remember telling him my name.
