A very famous blonde actress I used to train (before she made it to film) came in today. Her PA had called to make an appointment last week, and I wasn't sure if it was bogus or not until she actually walked through the door. She didn't look like she needed any training. Apparently, whatever diet she was on had been working since I last saw her at a Koi more than 3 months ago. (Trust me, people can deteriorate VERY quickly in a VERY short amount of time in this industry). She told me she came back from Japan after filming some commercials and decided to go on a fish diet and she never gained any weight, no matter how much she seemed to eat. And she had virtually cut out all the smoking and drinking. I told her how fabulous she looked but she wasn't convinced and added that she could add more muscle to her legs and abs. Who was I to argue with $150 per hour, 6 hours per week? So I agreed to train her and told her I'd get her legs looking like Cameron Diaz's in less than 1 month. These poor insecure beautiful people. Ironically, it seems that insecurity is directly proportional to beauty. The trials of the rich and famous. *sigh*
