Now there is a bill being brought up in congress that will make internet service providers responsible for reporting kiddie porn to the government. They are attempting to make pervs register their e-mails and all online names and if caught on any of these sights or attempting to contact kids they'll be busted back to jail. How will this work? You can't monitor these pervs all day everyday on the computer. And they can go to an internet cafe to get their kicks. Can this bill honestly work and how can it be enforced

But I think it is a great ideal.I think they need to be stopped.
Children should be protected any way possible.It may not stop
them all but maybe it will stop some.Anything is worth trying.

Wouldn't it be more effective all around to go after the people that place the kiddie porn on line in the first place?I'm all for keeping track of pedophiles, but why not go after the ones that feed them also? -

HH: the technical aspects facing the ISPs are hugely problematic, as you noted. i dislike this idea on principle, though: this is, to me, like blaming gun manufacturers for handgun homicides.

This bill is not for getting rid of kiddie porn it is a sneaky way to try to stop us from getting real news and communicating as we want . Porn can be tracked any IPS can be tracked even when using a cafe.This is the same as the patriot act 1 and 2 and the military commision act. This is another way to take away our freedom and rights to speach. If they want to catch child molesters they would.
