happy new year to all! i have no chinese blood (actually i am 1/8 chinese) but allow me to nonetheless greet you all a prosperous new year ahead.

after the holy mass this morning, the chinese members of our parish treated us to some chinese food and drinks which they prepared right outside the hall where we hold our village sunday worship. it was most welcome to most of us who found the opportunity not only to nibble on a few delicacies, but also to chit chat with our neighbors and friends.  i was once again thankful to realize that i live in a beautiful community with wonderful people around.

i later treated mrs and daughter to a hearty lunch, watched a dog show (beautiful animals!), and of course, the usual dragon dance.

today was another beautiful day for me.
