assuming of course that you're interested in the news, what websites do you usually like to use for the news? some of mine: ||{1}||: a news aggregator for tech/geek news. ||{1}||: a news aggregator for funny/weird news. it feels weird to call 'em news aggregators, as in both cases, they are dependent upon members to submit stories. fark in particular inspires some very interesting story headlines from the submitting members. it's weird b/c traditionally, one only calls a site a news aggregator if they receive mainstream news through two or more data feeds. but then again, that's also a traditional media-centered definition. what do you use? post links in the comments. hey, maybe i'll start using more! ed

gee, guys, i guess there's no need to ask about what news interests you. :> uptowngirl: you don't use NYT online? and i've heard slate's been different since they began to be hosted on MSN: any thoughts on that? ed

In addition to Fark and slashdot, I get my news from ||{1}|| ||{1}|| ||{1}|| (got to have some sports news. :P ) ||{1}|| ||{1}|| And the New York Times online. I also look at a few sites specific to my locale as well as one or two specific to the area my parents live and my in-laws live. I read over a bunch of the major news sites simply because I like to examine how different sites treat current news stories.
