I think I have an idea that could make me into a star. I am very excited but it's only a hope right now. I know in the past blogs, I have talked about having a gimmick to get people in.Well lately I have been reading this marketing book on  music. It has really given me great information on how to market my music. I realize that just throwing it out there won't  give me much to work with. So, I am deciding to take a more planned route. First thing is record new music. I want my audience to be everyone. So I must put forth music that will come across non-offensive and  extremely catchy. Also I must have somehting that will make me stick out  among all the other guys in my arena. I have found it! My thing will be "acapella". Now when I say acapella, I  don't mean singing all of my songs solo with no accompaniment. I will be my own backup. I will record back up vocals and various other vocal sounds  that I will make myself. Layer them with  the words I sing  and BINGO! I will have songs ready for consumer ears. It will be simple music but soothing to the ears. This will be the type of music that will help people wind down at the end of a long day. All the songs will be specially-crafted so that  additional music will seem pointless and even detrimental to the songs.  I will test them out on various friends at home and around the internet. Once I recieve some feedback. I will post the whole album on the internet and sell. I will market in the acapella section on Myspace, and various other websites.Also offereing the single as a free download to entice the listeners. I bet I will be the only 21 year old  who does acapella with himself.  Luckily most of the material is already written so all I have to do is record the songs. I decided to pick 10 and then if those come out well I will do more.  Next,I will select a single for the album. This will be one song that I feel will catch the ears of the masses.More than likely, I will sing this song more than any other. I will burn this song onto CD form.Then, I will look for places to submit my song so it can get play on radio. Next, I will start posting my availbility to do shows. If no one responds I will start to look for places where I can perform my music. Doing shows will help to boost my  fan base and give me a strong following in my home town. Also at the shows I can sell my CDs, if anyone is interested.Once I start doing shows I will figure it out from there. I am rearing to go. I am gonna be a star and no one can stop me now!
