Their brains were ate up by chicken pox causing paranoia to ravish one small school in Arkansas.
Okay, so perhaps that's not exactly the case. Maybe they just have chicken shit for brains. I guess the only way to tell for sure is to cut 'em up.
When will the drama end? It has been officially confirmed that my step-son does NOT have the chicken pox. They did indeed send him home yet again under the pretense of chicken pox. He has now missed a total of three days due to these imagined chicken pox - once about two weeks ago, then this past friday, and today.
I considered just sending him back to school today; however, tomorrow he is scheduled to have his teeth fixed which includes concious sedation. The dentist did not want to sedate him if he was suspected of having the chicken pox; thus, I had to fork out money and take him to the doctor today only to be told what I already knew: He does NOT have chicken pox.
I have now gotten a packet of information together - everything a school nurse should already know about chicken pox. I'm in the process of scheduling an appointment with the school principal and the nurse. Conveniently for them, the principal will be out most of the rest of this week and the nurse had already left to go home. Hmmm...am I getting the run around now? Possibly. Possibly not. I suppose only time will tell. I'll be calling again early next week. My point of no return has been reached and the powers that be are going to hear me loud and clear. This is not going to be allowed to continue.
