Has anyone in here had much to do with Second Life? I was told it was pretty cool and I had to get in there to believe it. Ok I'm still finding my way round, not sure of the controls etc but whats it supposed to do? I was expecting to be transported to another dimension, Arnie in Total Recall complete with Sharon Stone kicking my ass :) Even a bit of Minority report or Fifth Element. Not happened.

OK in Second Life I can fly but to where? I've had a few "people" come up to me and ....... stare at me basically. I've offered a card but had it declined. I've even teleported to a place that sells lingerie with a disco. "I'm a lover not a dancer" got me nowhere :-/ Does anyone use it and if so what am I missing?

I can see the potential of a virtual world, not convinced about buying Linden Dollars yet though, I reckon I just need a few guidlines :)
