Now I'm not a punk fan, and had never heard of noFX before DS asked me to buy tickets online for him. By the time I eventually got around to it, the allocation had all been sold. The concert is in another city, DS has no Internet connection nor credit card, hence asking Mum.
When I realised I'd let him down I was gutted. (He doesn't ask for anything, ever, and the one time he does? sigh And he is going to pay me for them, so it's not like it was a big ask.)
So I've been to an online auction (not eBay as that's irrelevant to my country) but no tickets for that venue. DS mentioned a website PunkAs.com had forums and someone there might have a ticket to sell.
I signed up so i could post the question, and have had a hoot of a time posting and reading replies! (Still haven't got a ticket yet, but 2 have popped up in a NZ auction site and I'm sitting holding m' breath as the bids climb close to the limit of DS's range.)
Here's th' funny part - I wouldn't recognise a noFX number if I ever heard one! LOL
