See Puppy Grow

Oliver, aka the Christmas puppy, has been a member of  our household for the past 6 weeks.
 
He's just started puppy obedience school  His classmates are a pitt bull mix and a doberman.  He fits right in with them....They're teaching him sit, stay, heel....
 
He is current on his shots, weighs a whopping 7 lbs now, and is a bundle of never-ending engery.  we call him our yippy puppy dog. 
 
He loves to give kisses to everyone, sleep on my feet, play catch with a ball or a frisbee-type toy...
He isn't so fond of going out in the cold, baths, and eating.
He's lost 4 baby teeth.
 
I just wanted to share some puppy pictures with you all....
Isn't he a cutie pie?

    charm the balls off a brass monkey.
     
    He has a cute color combination and a spunky little face. Are the
    pit bull and Doberman puppies too? If yes, he wants those guys for
    buddies later in life haha.
     
    Looks like you picked a good one, I wish you yeas of happiness
    with him. Oh, don't give him chocolate, grapes, or turkey...........

    Secret...lol......Mobil is right....lol.......that little fella has spunk in his eyes......growing with an attitute already, eh?.....but i bet he has to act cool with that pitbull and doberman ....

    oh, i would eat him up!....:-)

    My Romeo is maybe 10 times bigger than Oliver....lol...

    mobil:  yeah, the puppies in class have to be < 5months old.  both other dogs are just pups.  the pit bull mix belongs to a family with 2 young girls....not sure what people are thinking when they pick the type dog they do....the doberman is a young couple, no kids.

    as i have told you, i just love Oliver to pieces.....now if only i could say he was housetrained!

    ginger:  Oliver is a spunky little guy....his attitude is play play play...bite bite bite...everything on earth was made for him to bite.  lol...in puppy class what he really wants to do is jump on the other dogs. 

    i know what you mean by wanting to eat him up!  lolb

    i miss my puppy!!! he died last november when he was run over by a car!!!
     
    my thoughts are always with you sophie.. you bring so much joy in my life. especially the times when i realize that death was real you were there reminding me to alive.
     
    sophie was given to me by our neighbor because she knew i wanted a dog cuz i was depressed over the death of my friend.
     
    anyway i think your puppy is so cute!!!!!

    I love dogs, but puppies are so much better! Great pix! Keep up on the OB classes and you will have a loving good dog for the rest of his life. I used to train dogs, and the people are the ones that need to keep up on it. You can train dogs to do anything. Just keep up on. Good luck, and have a happy doggie life!

    Seceret........I'm a cat person myself but I also love dogs......maybe one day I'll get a dog. I used to walk dogs at the SPCA and the thing that turned me off dogs was picking up all the dog poo from 30+ dogs. I had nightmares of dog poo!

    Secret...you are doing right in training him so young...

    we waited too long with our boxers...Mully and Osaka....when my father sent them to Obedience and defense school i dont know what happened but they didnt learn a thing....did you read my story about that thief who intruded in our house and tied me and my brother while he was ravaging through the rooms and Mully was wagging his tail to him ALL the time? No one single bark produced??? Mully had an excuses though but we had to found out it later.... the thief already knew our dog and so Mully perceived him as a friend....but STILL.....??

    I really wish Oliver will turn out better than Mully....lol...

She is beautiful. She has Blonde and black hair and she is such a princess. She has been home only the last couple of weeks and already is spoiled. I think my husband likes her better than the rest of us.
