The apparition of my mother stood by the side of my bed about 10:00 am Friday morning. She told me, "I've brought you home another kid."

"What?"

The grogginess immediately vanished at the thought of another child. So much for an apparition she was the real deal. Apparently, the school had tried to reach us with no success, and had gotten her instead.

Our other son seems to have came down with the chicken pox for real this time - at least he has more than one spot. His case looks as if it will be a much milder case than even his brother's. I'm glad; however, he has a dentist's appointment on tuesday where they are going to fix his front teeth. Now that appointment will probably have to be rescheduled.  I suppose, I'll have to talk to them on monday and find out what they want to do.

Hopefully, he won't have to miss too much school. And hopefully he won't drive me insane, too. ;)

did you have them vaccinated?  my kids had the shot, but have all had a mild (3-4 day) case of chicken pox TWICE.

i hope you don't go crazy and the kids are suffering too badly.

Hey, secret. Yeah, they have both been vaccinated as well as my fifteen month old daughter. The first one who came down with it had a mild case that only lasted about 4 days. This one seems to be much more milder than even that. I don't imagine it will last any longer than 4 days if that. Oh, he doesn't seem to being suffering at all. If I didn't see a few spots and him itching at them periodically, I would never even suspected he was ill.

it's really surprising to me that the vaccine didn't prevent them, but at least they're mild cases as you said.

Hey, Silver. Apparently, the vaccine still has some bugs that need to be worked out. This is definetly not a vaccine I would swear by. And I really don't think they should promote it as extensively as they do until it has a higher rate of prevention. Just my opinion.
