SHOULD YOU VOTE IN THE NEXT ELECTION?! OF COURSE YOU SHOULD! If people are deciding to not vote in the next election because they feel that it's not worth it, then those people are directly responsible for the downfall of our system of government. The reason our government works is because of the people who go out and vote.

If you want to live in a country where decisions are made for you, people are put into office without you knowing of it, and you have little freedom, then please, by all means, go elsewhere. The rest of us, and I include myself, want to enjoy a country in which we are free to choose what happens in our government or at least who is choosing what happens in our government.

If the majority stops voting, then we are handing over power to the minority, and who knows who that minority might be. It might be a clean cross-section of the population of the United States, or it could be a skewed representation of our country. Are you willing to gamble on it?
