"perfect weekend"... how would you define this?
since the new year, i have not had a weekend that i did not bring some office work home. it's a really busy season for me, but i am not complaining. lawyering is my bread and butter and being saddled with lots of work for various clients should actually be a good news for me.
but working weekends such as the one i am having now reminds me of my carefree days... when weekends are usually spent in the beach with family and friends... when weekends are devoted to watching movies. a couple of months ago, i can even manage to schedule some golf games on saturdays, and even a two-day diving trip.
but all these have taken a back seat.
here i am infront of my computer with the goal of finishing two documents that i need to furnish my clients tomorrow. oh well...

hey quid: sorry to hear you're still so busy with work.my perfect weekend involves one where all of us are together. With the kids ages now, that's a rare event. Usually their social lives drive my entire weekend.I'm not so picky what we do when that happens. In the summer it might be a bbq, it could be renting a movie and sitting in the family room in front of the fire...i just want the time where we're together as a family.i hope you free up some time soon and maybe take a few days off! -

my favorite weekend involves spending time w/ my wife and as few other people as possible. no obligations or responsibilities: just us, together. that makes me happy.
