Winter returns and life sucks!

Just when you think spring isaround the corner, winter hits again!
I swear I was looking out my window at a dull, grey but mild day, one minute and the next
minute it was blowing snow in a white out. Not to sound cliche`but that is Calgary; if you don't like the weather wait five minutes! There are many days this is definately true, I just wish this was not one of them.
 
I need sunshine to survive; someone please send me some. "PLEASE!!!!"

    Snowing here too, if only for one hour this morning. Its still cold and grey though and they expect more cold for the next days.......

    writerspirit, sorry the weather's so mercurial. it's been crummy where i live, i'm afraid so there isn't much to recommend it, i'm afraid.

    I think I can almost relate to this one.  I move around a lot so I get lots of different weather.  Last week I spent everyday in the warm sunshine.  Los Angeles and then traveled along I-10 all the was down to Orlando.  Beautiful weather really.... and now.... I'm Salt Lake City bound after a trip to New York and down through the Ohio snow belt (where I live).  So, from 70 degrees in L.A. to -8 in Salt Lake, I get to see it all.

    It's kind of fun hearing about the weather where you all are. It has snowed a couple of inches since Wednesday but it's not all that cold.

    Ah, well, at least it's pretty to look at!

    funny, i'd always heard that same saying (if you don't like the weather just wait 5 minutes) applied to my state, WI - USA. I'd also heard that that particular saying in relation to my state was attributable to Mark Twain.

    Unfortunately, it hasn't rung true this week. -15F for the past couple of days. I can honestly say I've been waiting ALOT of 5 minuteses for better weather, because this weather both sucks and blows...
