Ok... What's the difference between soulcast or technorati? The founder is Soulcast said that he/she created soulcast with this premise: "There wasn’t a website out there whose premise was to form a community
that focused on meaningful bonds and extraordinary experiences and just
let people be real about themselves" (See: Soulcast 1st ever post entry: There's got to be more out there). That was dated 17 March 2006.
On the other hand, technorati states: "On the World Live Web, bloggers frequently link to and comment on other
blogs, creating the type of immediate connection one would have in a
conversation. Technorati tracks these links, and thus the relative
relevance of blogs, photos, videos etc. We rapidly index tens of
thousands of updates every hour, and so we monitor these live
communities and the conversations they foster." (See: Technorati.com, about us page). Unfortunately, technnorati doesn't mention the date that they started.
If analyzed, it seems like both have the same function: to create a community of bloggers. Given, a crucial question remains: Can Soulcast compete with Technorati?
