  Well you see it depends on what you are reading,  It has to draw the attention but not to quickly.  Also you have to remember that some people will be interested and some people won't be just keep in mind that not everyone will enjoy it, however, sometimes you just have to please the people that you can.

  well, creative writing is just that paperbackwriter so feel confident enough to give us a taste first. I write also however get very frightened of asking for initial comments until I've sent it out to the world.   I personally suck at erotica. When I get to that part in one of my novels my sick mind starts to wonder and I end up living the fantasy rather than writing it....:)

  oooh so sweet you are paperbackwriter...... My real job is assistant director of documentary movies, I do the really nerdy stuff called accounts, lisences, permits, schedules PA etc blah blah. My writing is my passion and I gotta say that I get so nervous when I send something out because to me I write as though I am in conversation - I like to be intimate to a point then provide a foundation for people to imagine yet it's hard.. oh it's hard... you remind me of a dear friend who is very intelegent, creative and highly OUT THERE!!!!!!!! so scattered is not unsual especially in my household. My only hope is that my confidence is of the same ilk as yours so can't wait to get it considering I've S'd to you.... oh I am blessed to have read you and yours and everyones realy.

  I have to admit, I was a TV addict. lol
  
  This is the reason I studied Mass Communication in the Philippines.  Eventually worked in ABS-CBN, lol - long story, kapatid!!!
  
  But since being here in Europe establishing life, and having children, I do not have the timeand peace to watch and follow series, much less watch TV!  We even gave up our connection because we are paying for services we are not availing! lol
  
  I am thankful fo DVD´s though!  I watched the entire Sex In The City DVD collection one summer week, as my daughters and husband went to stay in our country house, and I was left alone in the city, lol
