The movie that you want to exist in. I love movies! They create worlds out of make-believe and provide us an alternate universe. Which movie, may it be recent or a classic, do you want to make your alternate reality?

Steel Magnolias, because I would love to have friends and family like that.

The Burning Bed, because I should have watched it sooner.

Tao – oh, I had intended on using the term, because, well, I am quite proud of being a brown biscuit, and “libintador” is a one of a kind word, known primarily to the Negrense.  Could you guess what it is accurately?

hi libintador. Movie? hmmm....Sassy Girl! :D I can relater to the lead female character. Though I like to be in the Lake House.

    Kabayan! :D

    Cheers!

well... libintador is generic term for firecracker, which can have naughty connotations in american english when referring to women. i have no idea of any specific negrense subtext ;-p

Dazed – musta kabayan! It’s truly nice to know that there is quite a number of us in soulcast. As for Sassy Girl, I’m afraid I haven’t seen that movie yet. But how do you say you could relate to the female protagonist? And what is in Lake House that you find comfortable?

Of the late, I couldn’t get quite enough of Dead Man’s Chest. The Caribbean has really mysterious airs, even though the PI can be just as much of a tropical paradise. And watching Apocalypto, I have found that the Mayan civilization was fascinating from an outsider’s view, and I respect such archaic worlds and culture, but I doubt living inside that movie would be hospitable.

Tao – it is a firecracker, but I don’t know about “naughty” connotations. I believe that suggestion would only be considered by people who are innately perverted. Besides, names do not have to be politically correct in some occasions. And people may have quite contrasting reasons for using them.

Hi libintador. Yup it is nice that a lot of kababayans are blogging in soulcast. Sassy Girl is a Korean movie. Just like the female protagonist, I am as exhuberant as her. Also the female protagonist is on the process of discovering a new love after tragedy struck her life, long story on my part though.

What I liked about the lake house is the love story between two characters is how their love story unfolded even if time seems to be against them.

    Cheers.

i'd say to dart in and out of Narnia would be fun. chronicles of narnia it is. :) i also imagine myself in hook. the movie [sets, production] is a glorious salute to the wonders of being a child again. i just love how neverneverland manage to stay beautiful and messed up at the same time. :)
