  A) I don't recall Oscar Wilde ever saying that he was sorry that he was gay--because "gay" was not in the vernacular to describe homosexuality at that time, and, if memory serves, in "The Ballad of Reading Gaol" he was more hurt and upset that his lover's father brought the indecency trial about in the first place.
   
  B) Christianity is hardly a "cure" for homosexuality--I mean, look at Ted Haggard, for fuck's sake!
