Ukrainetrip reads (3):
It is the night before we leave for Ukraine. Everything, except for this computer, is finally packed. In the last few days, I have spoken to the nicest people. Some have been host families, some have been adoptive parents, and some have just offered a kind word or good advice. Thanks to everyone who gave us help and suggestions. I have learned that there are really a lot of nice people in the world who are willing to help someone they don't even know.

Colleen & Dan, It's 1/23/07 8:45 AM our time, so your today's workday in Kiev is over. News? Problem? Can I help somehow? Do not hesitate to ask. Good luck. Gennady.

    Colleen & Dan,
I've found interpretor for you.  His name GRISHA
(remember to pronounce each letter in the word!) Call
him around 7 PM your Kiev's time today. Say that you
are from ASYA (that's women name) from New York.  She
will call him a little bit before that time. He is a
student and will be happy to help and earn a little
    extra money.
Try to call me again and leave me your appartment or
cell phone number (just in case like today when our
    call was interrupted).
    Dont give up! Fight!
    Good luck!
    Gennady.
