  What a long strange trip it's been.
  
  First, I went to the University of Nebraska.  They told me there was no such John Delano Delaney who EVER went there.  They sent me to the University of Nebraska-Omaha, who is only slightly affiliated with them, and do not share databases.
  
  When I told the woman there my story, she sent me to legal affairs.  The legal affairs person immediately sent me up the legal food chain.
  
  Let's just say the person I talked to on the phone was looking at the site here and was MAJORLY dubious of the claims made.  They were, however, very interested in the fact that this guy is passing himself off as a cop/former cop, and the threats toward me are being taken seriously.
  
  Lucky, thanks to Mr. Policeman, I have about ten pages of posts featuring him tracking down my IP address and threatening all sorts of things with his baton toward me.  And, indicating he has "friends" from the force who would help him.
  
  As for his "defender"?  Anyone who has read my post "The Wit & Wisdom Of John Delano Delaney" and can still refer to him as "highly educated" simply isn't living on the same planet as you and I.
  
  Name calling?  Fine.  20 posts started for no other reason than to threaten me?  Sorry.  If that person is representing themself as a cop or former cop and then goes to the length to track down my IP?  
  
  Well, considering the acts of police quite evident in a couple of my posts, I really think the matter deserves investigating.  And that's what's happening now.
  
  Later, mobil.  I'd hate for you to be a pariah just because we might accidentally start discussing the Japanese influence in the Aleutian Islands.

  The whole thing where I'm supposed to be a million other people is a joke.  I would think it would be intuitively obvious to even the most casual observers that I post here to write my stuff.  And that I don't care what other people think.
  
  Why would I waste my time with imposter names?  It doesn't make any sense.  The people he accuses of being me are people who disagree with him.  Why would I need an alter ego to do that?  One would think I'd need an alter ego to agree with him.  Brainless.
  
  I saw him launch into you.  It was his usual attack.  Thoughtless, mindless, and without reading what you'd actually written.  And, then silverpomposity claimed I'm "meaningless."  If so, why all the crappy remarks in cop's blog--which I didn't know about till I read the post with your name in it from him on the general board.

  The big fracas a couple of weeks ago was good in one respect.  The loud snapping shut of a couple sphincters is evidence that perhaps two very, very pompous people--who have clearly shown they value their personal relationship over the truth, integrity, and other people--have learned one simple thing.
  
  They don't fucking own Soulcast, no matter how much time they spend flitting off to the posts to kiss people's asses. 
  
  As to "flow and style"--when someone is online 24/7 and has their ass up everyone's blog?  Well, I'm convinced he saw your actual post because it appeared on my blog.

  That's funny.  The legal affairs at both schools indicated that they, or the alumni association, could give out the names of any student ever published in the student directory.  Or, any student that had graduated, as it is a matter of public record.  NO JOHN DELANO DELANEY in either case.

  “You want to talk to our legal department? May I tell them what this pertains to?”

  “ One moment please”

  Oh, no, no, no, no.  I described my problem, after being forwarded without prompting.  You see when I described the problem--someone potentially and quite likely impersonating an police officer or federal agent or Masters Degree student at one of the universities--the person in charge of records looked at the entries from the loser.

  THEY ON THEIR OWN AND OF THEIR OWN VOLITION FORWARDED ME TO LEGAL AFFAIRS.

  Who IMMEDIATELY forwarded me to the state Attorney General's office.  An investigator was on the phone in seconds.

  This person isn't a cop.  Never has been.  But someone will be contacting him shortly, I'm sure.
