The following is a scenario that plays itself time and time again. Young man meets young woman, they fall in "love" and have a huge wedding with all of their friends and family present. They want the dream. They want a nice car, vacations, two kids, a dog and a nice home with a white picket fence. So they buy everything they think they will need to build a life for themselves. Nine months later enter baby #1. She stays home, he works two jobs to keep everything afloat. A few years later enter baby #2. Throw in a massive number of bills from everything that has been purchased along the way. He says she spends too much money either on herself or the kids or whatever. She says he's never home with the family and doesn't appreciate the work she does at home. Throw in a few nasty fights. He/she meets some who "understands" him/her. Enter affairs. Then either he or she says they no longer love the other one. Enter divorce, lawyers, child support payments, misery. What was the mistake?? Was it getting married in the first place? Was it the lack of time spent with each other? Was it wanting too much too fast? The reasons are as unique as the people themselves and it happens far too often. Who suffers the most? The kids.
