  I went to a seminar on 'Ghosts' a few years back.  The auditorium was packed with about 200 people.
   
  The host of the event introduced himself and took a few minutes to engage with the audience.  Then, he said that he wanted to start off the evening with a few questions, a process of elimination as it were.
   
  "How many of you have seen a ghost?" was the first question.  Almost everyone raised his/her hand.  "Okay, that's excellent!" he said.  "Now, of all of you who have seen a ghost, how many have spoken to one?"  About half of the hands remained raised.  "Wow!  This is amazing!" he exclaimed excitedly.  "Of those of you who have spoken to a ghost, how many have touched one?"  About 3 or 4 hands remained raised at this question.  At this point, I felt that the admission to this gathering was well worth it.  "Okay, folks!  Here's my last question, and I will be ecstatic if anyone's hand stays up for this.  Here goes!  Of those of you who have touched a ghost, have any of you made love to one?"  The remaining hands disappeared...save one.  One lone hand at the back of the room remained raised.
   
  "Oh, my goodness!  This is incredible!  You sir!  Would you mind coming up here and telling us about your experience?"  All heads turned toward the back of the auditorium.  Finally, a little old man scuttled his way up the center aisle.  It was obvious that he was Scottish because he was wearing full Scottish attire, complete with kilt.  The room was hushed in anticipated silence as he made his way to the front.  He looked quite nervous as his eyes darted around the room, and gave the host a shy smile as they shook hands.
   
  "Well, now!"  the host beamed.  "Tell us, sir, how it is that you managed to make love to a ghost?"
   
  The old man's mouth dropped open and he gasped in surprise.  "Ghost!"  he said.  "I tot ye sed goats!"

  while i believe that there are things beyond our understanding of science, i'm not really convinced re: supernatural things.
