And soon to be a very nasty one at that.  I saw last night where a friend of mine had just had a baby on a certain organizations blog that for now shall remain nameless.  I had learned the news earlier myself from another friend, so I posted a comment to congradulate the new father.  I see that my comment has been shunned by this organization for reasons that I do not know.

I feel it is because of their particular stace about certain freedom of speech issues within the activity the we both compete in.  I am almost 100% sure that my organization does not agree with their stance and thus by me being a member have also shunned me and my comments.  I hope this is not true and there has been some oversight of my comment, but I have seen where other comments I made in the past have not appeared or my name has been removed.

Let me be the first to say that I was friends with this new father to be before your organization was even an idea.  Do NOT shun me when I choose to congradulate a friend.  I have been nothing but a supporter of your organization from the beginning and have made a great deal of friends with peopl ein your organization.  Do not lump me in with the rest of the angry mob that has your name and number because that is not the case.  In fact I agree with your opinion and have stated so publicly.

I only give one chance to make it right and one chance only.  Then I act and I will be heard.  Freedon of speech is not an issue for me.  My words are very sharp and you will hear them.

Since my public wishes are not heard or seen anywhere let me congradulate my Blue Brother here.  Roland, congradualtions on the birth of your son.

Eh, Chris Nalls is a dick. Don't take it personally and blame the Renegades. You know - like I'm not suppose to blame the Brigadiers because Teddi is a cunt. LOL. You know, I'm not sure what the comment policy is on the Renegades blog, I have posting privileges, but they censored a post I made. So it's all a fucking lie anyway.

Update... I just spoke with Lee Rudnicki today about this and he said it's because they enabled comment moderation - so the person that made the post has to approve your comment and they might not even be aware that they need to do that.

I wasn't going to blame the organization, only it's leadership for going public with something like a blog and then limiting what can or cannot be said by it.  Especially considering the stand that the Renegades are taking.  I support their view 100%.

I see that more comments and noticeably mine are showing up now.  That makes me feel a bit better.  I want to support everyone and I want to see everyone succeed.

Plus you know if I am going to publicly go after someone I am going to do it with tact and not be a total asshole about it.

    Anyhow...back to my weekend recovery!

Oh come on, being an Asshole is fun!!! Anyway, yeah, it's the comment moderation that is the deal. Some people are members of the blog, like lisad, so her comments show up right away because blog team members comments don't get moderated. But everyone else has to have their comments approved - Nalls was at the DCA meeting, so it took him awhile to get around to it. Have a good one!
