Well it started dumping on us at about 8 o'clock this morning and it hasn't let up... there's a good three inches on the ground already and there's no sign of it slowing down.
I'm still grappling with yesterday's migraine, so I figured it was a good day to come home early!
I have lived in Utah all my life, with the exception of the three years I spent in Texas while my husband was in the Army...all my life here and I have never put on a pair of skis, EVER. Now it's become sort of a twisted goal, to live and die in Utah and never ski. Why? Well... I just don't see the sense in spending a LOT of money I don't have, so I can go to the top of a mountain covered in stuff I don't like, and then hurt myself.
Since my stroke, gravity and I have never really been friends, and when gravity has snow and awkward footwear on his side, I keep my distance. I may be dumb, but I'm not stupid. Plus, I tend to gravitate to sports you can play indoors, or even sitting down - Fishing: you can sit. Billiards: almost always indoors. Bowling: indoors, with alot of sitting in between. This is the kind of stuff I can get enthusiastic about. Computer games - indoors AND sitting! Woo Hoo! Now we're talking!
Well, I did buy my husband a snow blower for Christmas, so at least he can be more enthused about the snow. And I intend to never learn to use it, thus removing myself from any obligation on that situation. Man, it's still coming down out there. I feel a nap coming on!Talk to you later ----
