For some reason, I thought my entry on swearing would generate more traffic.  I'm as surprised as me.

Well, I don't really have much to report today.  I did five articles for a sum of money that was quite handsome.

Nothing of note in the Bible reading, but I've been wanting to discuss this for a while.  In Genesis 11, there is an account of the Tower of Babel.  I've always been curious what would have happened if God didn't confuse them with languages.  What if He just kept them building.  Probably would have fell in.

As for Proverbs, I think it is interesting to see that the author believes that wisdom calls out on the street.  Not only that, that wisdom can keep you from harm.  Well, I wonder if that is true.

Wisdom has a pretty annoying way of sneaking behind you and showing himself when the trouble's over and you're all beaten up; especially if you don't look behind you every once in a while.

Congratulations on your wad of money. :D

The Chinese have them. The Japanese use them. What have we got that's a kind of equivalent in English? Nothing really. But I have some ideas and I need yours too......
